Beacon Community Church exists to foster community and spiritual growth in the heart of Cape Coral and southwest Florida. We envision a welcoming space where individuals can come together to worship the Lord, grow, and support one another. With various programs and activities, we seek to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. Join us as we embark on this exciting journey of faith.

Our VISION
Beacon Community Church exists to, “Let our light shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16) Therefore our vision statement is, “Lighting the way, by proclaiming and living the truth in Jesus’ name.”
Our MISSION
At Beacon Community Church, we believe in order to carry out our vision we must: Receive, Proclaim and Love. First: Receive God’s grace (Both saving grace- Ephesians 2:8-9 and growing grace- Titus 2:11-12). Second: Proclaim God’s Word (2 Timothy 4:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). Third: Love God’s people (In our church AND in our community John 13:34-35; 1 John 4:10-11). This mission is practically experienced through the values of worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry and outreach in the minds and hearts of those who call Beacon Community Church their home!

Commit to join our church plant launch team for 3 months, 6 months or 1 year as we seek to see a new church family form in Cape Coral, Florida.

Partner together with us financially through a one time gift or ongoing support.

Our LEADERSHIP
Gene Reitz
Gene and Robin moved in July 2022 to Cape Coral to be more deeply connected with their family who live in the area. After pastoring two churches in Michigan for the past 28 yrs. Gene took a position as a courtesy driver with BMW while seeking the Lord’s direction on His will for the next step in ministry. As a driver, he began to meet literally hundreds of people over the months who were in spiritual darkness without Christ. God began to "break his heart" for the people of southwest Florida and specifically, Cape Coral. The need was evident for gospel-centered churches due to the rapid growth projected to be 230k people by the end of 2025! By the grace of God, the support of Fort Myers Community Church where they attend, the Send Network - a Church Planting group, and many others, Gene and Robin are planting Beacon Community Church to be a light in the darkness, for the glory of God!
